Minggu (26\/4) SMAN 1 Purwantoro mengikuti lomba essay competition Se-Jateng DIY tahun 2015. Dalam Lomba tersebut SMAN 1 Purwantoro berhasil meraih juara 1 menyisihkan peserta lain di Jateng, Jatim dan DIY.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dalam presentasinya Rohmad Romadhon mempresentasikan karyanya yang berjudul &#8220;Pemanfataan SIG dalam Pembelajaran Geografi Untuk Membentuk Generasi Berwawasan Spasial&#8221;. Dalam makalahnya dipaparkan pentingnya pemanfaatan SIG dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Mengingat geografi merupakan pelajaran yang memiliki cakupan materi yang luas mulai dari aspek&nbsp; sosial dan aspek fisik yang ada dibum. <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Dengan memanfaatkan SIG pembelajaran Geografi akan lebih menarik dan akan mengembangkan wawasan spasial yang mumpuni dan kelak siswa akan mampu menganalisis dan menyelesaikan permasalahan secara spasial&#8221;.Ujar Rohmad<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dengan berhasil menyabet kembali juara 1 ini maka SMAN 1 Purwantoro merupakan juara bertahan karena tahun sebelumnya juga memperoleh juara 1.&#8221; Dengan keberhasilan ini kami akan terus berupaya mengembangkan pemikiran dan pembelajaran berbasis informasi geospasial untuk mewujudkan generasi penerus bangsa yang berwawasan spasial yang mumpuni&#8221;.
